Robin's Egg Private Chef Services as a way to help busy
professionals or those with dietary restrictions indulge in delicious gourmet
fare. Robin works with clients in the New York City area to discover their favorite meals, and
various specifications to create a menu tailor made for them that
they can enjoy while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Robin was professionally trained in the culinary arts at Peter Kump's New York Cooking School with the help of a James Beard Foundation Scholarship. Upon graduation, she worked in Bobby Flay's kitchen at his popular Spanish restaurant, Bolo. After working large parties as a catering assistant, Robin decided she wanted more creative control. She has found working as a private chef most rewarding, as she gets to plan daily menus, shop for the freshest ingredients, and bake delicious treats with the fruits in season while letting her own personality shine through the finished product. Robin makes sure that the dishes she creates are beautiful to the palate as well as the eye. The meals are then carefully packaged and delivered directly to the client for the utmost convenience. Robin always takes care to use the freshest ingredients and buys organic whenever possible, including meat and poultry. Additionally, soy products may be substituted for some ingredients.
